A Quick, Inexpensive Yard
If your grass is nonexistent or not as green as you would like, hydroseeding is a quick fix.
Hydroseeding is a process that sprays a mixture of grass seed, mulch, and water to create an inexpensive yard with quick germination. In a few hours, the non-staining mixture can be applied to a yard of any size. Within a week, grass will sprout.
Hydroseeing is more effective than applying just seed because the machine ensures a thick, even coat is applied to the entire yard, and the water gives the seed quick growth. It is also less costly than sod. Sod can cost $280-$1,200 for 2,000 square feet. Hydroseeding with Smith Development costs approximately $160 for 2,000 square feet.
